Man charged with stabbing brother

A Monroe County man was charged with stabbing his brother during an apparent domestic dispute.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said at 12:53 p.m. on Sunday they were dispatched to 8275 Natures Drive in Coolbaugh Township, for a report of a stabbing. On scene officers learned that Darell Williams, 24, of that address, had stabbed his juvenile brother. The juvenile was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police added. The mother of the juvenile and the suspect was notified of the incident.

Darell Williams was charged with aggravated assault (felony one), terroristic threats and various other related charges, police said. He was arraigned before on-call District Judge Michael R. Muth, of East Stroudsburg, and committed to the county prison in lieu of bail.
