NEPA Alliance presents $148K loan to Kariz Cuts

The NEPA Alliance Business Finance Corp. gave Kariz Cutz a $147,926 SBA 504 loan recently for the purchase of land and a building in Monroe County. Because of this loan, Kariz Cutz will be able to create three jobs. Other project funds included assistance from Wayne Bank and cash from the borrower.
Founded in 2010, Kariz Cutz is overseen by Kevin Allen, who graduated from barber school and became a licensed barber in 2003. That is when he began running his shop from his home. Seven years later, he added contracted barbers at the shop’s current location.
Kariz Cutz was named the No. 1 Barber Shop in the Poconos in 2012.
In addition to running his own shop, Allen has also trained five barbers, who all operate their own shops in different locations.
