Tamaqua man cited in domestic dispute

Published June 11. 2016 09:02AM

A domestic incident in Tamaqua on May 5 resulted in a citation for Keith Staines, 42, of 327 Hazle St., Tamaqua.

Police were called to the house at 9:10 a.m. for a disturbance and found a woman picking up numerous children's toys from the ground. The toys were thrown there by Staines.

Inside the home the officer spoke with Staines, who said he had an argument with his wife and threw the children's toys outside because she (wife) throws his stuff all the time.

Three children in the home, all under the age of 5, were visibly upset by the argument between their parents.

Staines was cited for disorderly conduct and Schuylkill County Children and Youth were notified as this was the sixth time this year that officers responded to the home for domestic disputes.
