Cash, jewelry taken in Monroe burglary

Cash, jewelry and electronics with a value of $3,600 were reported taken in a Monroe County burglary.

State police at Lehighton said the break-in occurred at a residence in the 1000 block of Molasses Valley Road, in Kunkletown, Eldred Township. Sometime between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.Wednesday, the home was entered and items were taken. The victim is a 59-year-old female.
