A look back: February 6, 1970

Marshall Williams was elected president of the Weatherly Area Taxpayers’ Association during a special meeting in Eurana Park. John Timko, outgoing president, did not seek re-election.

Other officers are: Timko, vice president; Walter E. Snell Jr., secretary; Charles Englehart, treasurer; Harvey Feaster, co-treasurer; and Franklin Corra, financial secretary.

Directors are Walter Hertzog, Steve Gulas, Joseph Oleck, Alburtis Witner and Mary O’Donovan.

President Williams urged the members present, numbering approximately 50, to continue their loyalty to the taxpayers’ group and fellow residents of Weatherly.
