Council agrees to create Facebook page for borough
It won’t be long before Lehighton has its own presence on social media.
That’s after borough council on Monday unanimously agreed for the borough to have its own Facebook page.
Councilwoman Autumn Abelovsky said that due to the popularity of social media, she believes the time has come for the borough to have its own Facebook page.
Abelovsky said the Facebook page would be used to share fact-based information with the community.
Borough Manager Nicole Beckett agreed that it would be a positive thing for the community.
