Firearms discharged in Tamaqua

A Tamaqua man will face multiple charges after an incident on June 8 involving firearms.

According to borough police Damien Michael Lutz, 18, of 323 W. Broad St., was arrested after police received complaints of gunfire coming from the apartment complex. Police said they were summoned to a report of four or five shots. During the course of the investigation, other witnesses came forward and provided statements.

As a result Lutz will answer to charges of two counts of disorderly conduct and one count each of illegal possession of a firearm, recklessly endangering another person, public drunkenness and illegal purchase of alcohol.
