Warrant service leads to drug charges

Tamaqua police have cited Christopher Farber, 24, of 433 Glenwood Ave., Tamaqua, after finding him with drugs and drug related material when they served him with a warrant on May 2.

Officers went to Farber's home with the warrant at 7:30 a.m. They found him and packets of suspected heroin and marijuana, a scale, numerous small empty baggies, rubber bands, cut straws, a glass pipe, razor blade and a bud grinder.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
