Dollar General coming to West Penn

A Dollar General Store is headed to West Penn Township.

Township engineer Bill Anders informed the township’s board of supervisors earlier this week that the township’s zoning hearing board granted two variance requests recently.

The store will be located on Route 309 south of the St. Luke’s Urgent Care, Anders said.

Their next step is to get a highway occupancy permit, and submit a land development to the township for review.
