Frackville police log

State police at Frackville report the following:

• Troopers said Robert Enloe, 29, of Girardville, was assaulted along Williams Street in the borough about 3:30 p.m. The suspect in the incident is known by the victim, troopers said.

Enloe was flown by medical helicopter to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for treatment of injuries. The investigation is continuing, troopers added.

• A Berks County driver was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:26 a.m. on Friday along Route 895 in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said John J. Schultz, 52, of Hamburg, was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger pickup truck eastbound when he lost control on a ice/snowed covered roadway. The truck crossed the westbound lane and struck an embankment along the berm. Upon impact the truck overturned onto its passenger side and came to rest along the north berm facing east.

Schultz was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville, for treatment of injuries. New Ringgold Fire Company volunteers assisted at the scene.
