N. Lehigh agrees to spend $50K on middle, high school parking lots
Northern Lehigh School Board agreed on Monday to enter into an agreement with Pavement Maintenance Contractors Inc. to crack seal and coat the middle school and high school parking lots at a cost not to exceed $50,000.
The project will be paid from the district’s long range maintenance fund balance.
Greg Derr, director of support services and transportation, said the project will seal cracks in the asphalt, and seal-coat the entire parking lots and reline and number parking spots.
“The pavement work was probably going on eight to 10 years ago,” Derr said. “It’s time to do some maintenance work on it to extend its life.”
