Car, equipment stolen in Lower Towamensing
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary in which a vehicle and equipment were stolen in Lower Towamensing Township.
The victim is an 83-year-old woman who resides in the 100 block of Maple Drive in the township.
Police said someone entered the side door of a garage at the residence, opened the large door and took a blue 2010 Ford Focus, a Generac generator, a Craftsman air compressor with a hose, a Sears jump pack and 5 gallons of gas.
