Palmerton police

Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Assault: Mark Solt, 48, of Palmerton, was charged with simple assault and harassment, for an incident July 4 in the 1200 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Public drunkenness: Taaji Baldwin, 31, of Palmerton, was charged with obstructing administration of law, false ID, and public drunkenness, for an incident Feb. 28 on Delaware Avenue.

Retail theft: Amanda Grimm, 29, of Parryville, was charged for an incident Feb. 15 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Citations: Police also issued one citation each for speeding, traffic violation and vehicle violation.
