McAdoo man facing drug charges
An 18-year-old McAdoo man will face drug charges after a traffic stop in that borough.
According to police, Edward Joseph Bielen III was one of two passengers in a car that was stopped by police on May 26 for traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. Officers smelled the odor of marijuana in the car, leading to a search.
As a result of the investigation, Bielen was found to be carrying Klonopin, oxycodone and Clonazepam, according to the police affidavit.
Bielen was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
