Palmerton Cat Project calls for food drive
The Palmerton Cat Project is calling out to all of their supporters for a much-needed food drive.
Supplies of dry food have dwindled down to the point where the group has had to reach out to a food pantry for assistance, though their supplies are running low as well.
The group has teamed up with The Fire Escape coffee house and Little Bombers Day Care on Delaware Avenue, where contributors can drop off donations of cat food through Monday. Purina Cat Chow and Dad’s Special Mix are preferred, though any unopened food that is still fresh will be accepted.
Wet food donations are welcome as well, though the group would prefer any flavor but fish.
Donation bins are currently in place at both locations. Other necessary items, including food and supplies, can be found on the Palmerton Cat Project’s Amazon Wish List site. Contributions can also be sent directly to P.O. Box 24, Palmerton, PA 18071.
