Firefighters participate in structure burn class

Volunteer firefighters from local companies including Franklin, Lehighton, Towamensing Township and Polk participated in a structure burn class in Lehighton on Saturday. The old dam operator’s house at 2075 Pohopoco Drive was used for drills and lessons, covering ventilation, hose work, ladder use, rescue techniques and more.
