Easter events

• Palmerton Easter egg hunts will be held at the Palmerton Memorial Park beginning at 11 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Palmerton Borough Park.

• Join St. Matthew’s UCC in Kunkletown for the annual Easter egg hunt, candy toss, crafts, bounce house, and visit from the Easter Bunny from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday. Weather permitting, it will be in the St. Matthew’s UCC picnic grove (124 Picnic Lane, Kunkletown). In the event of inclement weather, it will be held at the church, 102 Church Road.

• On Saturday St. Peter’s UMC will hold the church’s Community Easter Egg Hunt. There will be four age groups. The festivities begin at 11 a.m. All children, toddlers to age 10, are invited. If it rains or snows, the rain date is April 7. St. Peter’s is next to the Dollar General on 924 Route 115, Saylorsburg. Call 570-992-7311 if there are questions.

• An adult Easter egg hunt will be held from 8:30-9 p.m. April 6 at the Palmerton Sokol Hall, 452 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton. For ages 21 and over; bring a basket and flashlight.
