Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group

An Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group is meeting in the Jim Thorpe/Penn Forest area.

This month’s meeting is at Christ Lutheran Church, 189 Church Road in Penn Forest Township, at 6 p.m. Monday.

Those caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia are welcome to join.

The support group is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association. To inquire about meetings, call Bill at 610-457-0370.

The Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support group will be conducted by trained facilitators to develop a support system, exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions, talk through issues and ways of coping, share feelings, needs and concerns, and learn about community resources.
