April 12, 2005 — Shane Rothermel, Dan Miller, and Amber Koneck each post three individual wins to help Lehighton sweep East Stroudsburg North in a Mountain Valley Conference meet. Rothermel captures the 800, 1600, and 110 hurdles, while Miller takes the shot, discus and high jump as the Indian boys gain a 102-48 victory. Other wins come from Ed Parliman (400), Patrick Matsinko (3200), Kreg Henritzy (110 hurdles), and Tommy Beltz (javelin). Koneck won both hurdles and the pole vault as the girls cruise to a 119-30 win. Hailey Neff (1600, 3200), and Requal Sanders (long jump, high jump) each add a pair of firsts.
