Trinity happenings
Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., and includes Thanksgiving for Baptism. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Rich Bergen assists. Those gathered will immediately proceed to the east lawn for the dedication of the congregation’s companion tree on Earth Day. This American linden tree is a partner to the church-sponsored small leaf linden tree dedicated at Luthergarten in Wittenberg, Germany, hometown of the Reformation which was started by Martin Luther 500 years ago. Coffeehouse fellowship follows the dedication.
Sunday church school classes for students ages 3 though sixth grade begin at 10:45 a.m., following the completion of the dedication. Students are included in the dedication program.
For those desiring church membership, the Rev. Moore will host an informational session Sunday at 1 p.m. Contact the church office in advance to arrange a baptismal date and/or become a congregational member at 610-377-4303.
A Mother-Daughter luncheon is being planned for noon on May 5 at Luther Hall. Reservations are free for mothers and daughters but necessary in order to prepare the food. Call the church office to RSVP by April 29.
