Missing Philadelphia woman found dead in Blakeslee
A missing woman from Philadelphia was found dead in Blakeslee on Friday morning.
A report from coroner Thomas A. Yanac said that the Monroe County Coroner’s Office arrived at a residence on Foliage Drive in the early afternoon in response to a body that was found in the rear of the property.
The deceased was identified as Nicole Murray, who had been reported as missing since December 2017. She was last seen in early January.
The Coroner’s Office, Pennsylvania State Police Forensic Unit and Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department are conducting an investigation into Murray’s death.
A forensic autopsy will be conducted on April 23.
