Safety fair to be held in Monroe
West End Park & Open Space Commission and the Western Pocono Women’s Club is co-sponsoring its sixth annual free Child’s Safety Fair at the Chestnuthill Township Park, 221 Route 715 in Brodheadsville, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 19.
The Pennsylvania State Police will fingerprint children and the West End Fire Company and Ambulance Association will have its equipment available to view.
A fire safety or simulated “Smoke House” from the Tobyhanna Army Depot will be available to demonstrate safe ways to escape a house fire.
West End Ambulance will check blood pressure, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation will provide car seat safety information and much more.
