Three sought in assault

Three Monroe County residents are being sought for robbery and assault.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said at 4:52 p.m. on Saturday they responded to Route 196 and the K gate at A Pocono Country Place, for a report of a fight with injuries.

A 19-year-old man told police that he was riding his electric scooter when three men punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.

The three beat and stomped on his head. They went through his pockets and took $19 and his cellphone.

Police said the victim had multiple cuts and swollen contusions on his face and head. He was taken by EMS to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg, for treatment.

Police said through an investigation the three suspects were identified as Nasio Terrence, 18, of Vista Drive, and Keanu Kasaba, 18, of Horseshoe Bend, both of Tobyhanna; and Craig Smith, 19, of Ivy Way, Long Pond.

The three have been charged with three counts of robbery as felonies; aggravated and simple assault, theft, reckless endangerment, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy and a summary offense of harassment.

Arrest warrants have been obtained for the three men. Anyone with information concerning their whereabouts is asked to call police at 570-895-2400.
