Trout fishing contest

A trout-fishing contest sponsored by Franklin Township Lions Club and Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club will be held Saturday at Phifer’s Ice Dam, Main Road, Lehighton.

Registration is 8-10 a.m. and fishing is 9 a.m. to noon for ages up to 15. Refreshments and prizes available. Free lunch to registered children.
