Bids being accepted for CDBG project

Offers are being entertained for a Community Development Block Grant project in West Penn Township.

Bids for the Schuylkill County CDBG — West Penn Township — ADA access path at Zion Stone Church will be received by the Schuylkill County Controller until 4 p.m. May 14.

The bids will be opened at 9 a.m. and reported at the Board of Commissioners work session scheduled for 10 a.m. May 17, with a tentative award date of May 23.

Project work includes the construction of about 1,000 linear feet of a bituminous walking path.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10 a.m. May 9 in the conference room of the Schuylkill County Courthouse.
