Tamaqua girl brings home the gold

    Isabella Fort, 11, of Tamaqua competed in the Level 4 Gymnastics State Championships recently at Penn State. She became the vaulting state champion by winning gold on the vault. She also placed third on the uneven bars, bringing home the bronze and placed second in the All Around, bringing home the silver medal. She attends Tumble with Denise in Lehighton five days a week and is an honor student maintaining a 95 percent average. Isabella is the daughter of Cheryl Sitlinger and Thomas Fort.
