16,000 lose power in Monroe County
About 16,000 PPL customers in Monroe County lost electricity for a few minutes on Monday afternoon.
Regional affairs director Carol Obando-Derstine said that the outages started at 2:18 p.m., and that service was returned by 2:23 p.m.
“It was an issue with a transmission line, but a cause is not known,” Obando-Derstine said.
