Two sought for shoplifting
Two men are being sought for a shoplifting incident at a Schuylkill County store.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred on May 15 at 11:45 a.m. at the Boscov’s Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall in Norwegian Township.
Troopers said a black man entered an outside sales tent and removed a large blue suitcase without paying for it. He and another black man then entered the main store and attempted to remove Nike athletic shorts without paying for them.
The two concealed the items in the front of their pants and attempted to exit the store. Both were confronted by store security and removed the items from the front of their pants and then ran off.
The 10 Nike shorts taken were valued at $345 and the suitcase at $99.
