Northwestern baseball team in states Monday

Northwestern’s baseball team will be playing in the opening round of the PIAA state baseball playoffs on Monday.

The Tigers, who captured the District 11 Class 4A title last Saturday, will take on District 12 champ Monsignor Bonner in the first round.

Monday’s contest will be held at George Washington High School in Philadelphia. The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.

If the Tigers (17-7) win, they will play Thursday in the quarterfinal round against the winner of Lower Moreland and West Perry.
