Chamber to present mini golf tournament

The second annual Bill George Memorial Mini Golf Tournament will be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bear Rock Junction in New Tripoli.

Presented by the Ironton Telephone & Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, the event will support the Greater Northern Lehigh Scholarship Fund to benefit students in the Northern Lehigh School District, Northwestern Lehigh School District, Northampton Area School District, and Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

Dinner and registration begin at 4:30 p.m., with a ribbon cutting for the new course at 5:30 p.m.

There will be a shotgun start at 6 p.m.

The rain date is Thursday.

Prizes will be awarded for lowest score by an individual; lowest score by a team; lowest score for a student; and lowest hole in one overall.
