Man discharges gun in Eldred home

State Police in Lehighton report that a man discharged gun inside a home on Silver Springs Boulevard in Eldred Township.

A recklessly endangering incident that happened at in Eldred Township is under investigation by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said a 27-year-old Lehighton man discharged a firearm inside the residence at 7:38 p.m. June 17 during an altercation with a 43-year-old woman from Bangor.

Police said they learned the gun was stolen and that the man is not licensed to possess a firearm.
