Lehigh Township traffic enforcement

Lehigh Township Police conducted three traffic enforcement details on Cherryville Road (Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., Wednesday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m.).

During these details police issued 31 speeding citations, one seat belt citation and one driving with an open container of alcohol.

The top speed was 65 mph in the posted 35 mph. The average speed cited was 54 mph.

Police also conducted field sobriety tests on a driver.
