Kia recalls more than 500,000 vehicles

Kia Motors America is voluntarily recalling 507,587 vehicles because the air bags might not deploy properly.

Vehicles being recalled include all Forte vehicles produced from Feb. 24, 2009 through Aug. 31, 2012; all Forte Koup vehicles produced from June 5, 2009 through Aug. 31, 2012; all Optima vehicles produced from Aug.12, 2010 through Aug. 31, 2012; all Optima Hybrid vehicles produced from Feb. 15, 2011 through Aug. 31, 2012; and all Sedona vehicles produced from March 3, 2010 through Aug. 14, 2012.
