A Lone Killer's Savagery

Published July 09. 2016 09:02AM

Dear Editor,

He had a handsome face. But his beauty ended there. He had a twisted mind that became a web of vicious complexity. God gave him good looks, but not to become a murderer. A brutal savage who killed 49 innocent people and seriously injured dozens more. It's a nightmare Americans will never erase from their memories.

Omar Mateen was of Muslim ancestry, born in America. Known to abuse his wife, a coward who possessed a bullish temperament. What triggers one's brain that he becomes ultraviolent, deadlier than a cobra, who will kill without a conscience? Too complex for even a shrink to digest such a monster.

It was a known fact, Omar Mateen belonged to an ISIS terrorist group. He performed one of the most horrendous massacres our country has ever experienced. A cold-blooded one-man army whose brain exploded in a fury of contemptible savagery while a hail of bullets destroyed life after life.

It was noted Omar saw two men kissing that could have induced his anger to go on a killing escapade. And he chose a gay bar in Orlando, Florida. All the victims were in their 20s and 30s; a few 18 and 19. Young lives snuffed out so violently; so heartlessly. He died the same brutal way he killed as his body was riddled with gunfire by police officers. God will NEVER permit him to enter Heaven. He's doomed in hell for all eternity.

Where is God while our civilization is being slowly annihilated with the most depraved, psychopathic minds the world has ever known? What is the answer to these suicide bombers who have no fear of dying; only kill! kill! kill! on their tortured minds? Is there a solution to end the killings? Gun control will never happen. It's useless trying to keep weapons from public usage. God bless America. God isn't doing such a satisfactory job thus far. Maybe God doesn't care if the world crumbles until the human race becomes "humane" once again.
