Man charged with DUI after crash

State police at Fogelsville investigated a two-vehicle crash at 1:34 p.m. June 2 which included a Germansville man.

Police said the crash happened on Hamilton Boulevard (Route 222) in Lower Macungie Township when a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Neil B. Laudenslager, 41, of Coopersburg, traveling east, attempted to enter the left turn lane and struck a 2017 Hino driven by Charles L. Mason, 33, of Germansville. Neither driver was injured.

Police said Laudenslager attempted to flee the scene but was restrained and was later found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol.
