SCHUYLKILL COUNTY COURT

Published June 19. 2018 12:14PM

One defendant had parole revoked in Schuylkill County Court:

Terri L. Kates-Fairchild, 39, of Harrisburg, was charged by Tamaqua police in two cases.

The first was unauthorized access device use, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property on April 16, 2014.

In the second case, they charged her with conspiracy — receiving stolen property on Feb. 9, 2015.

She pleaded guilty on Sept. 23, 2015, to theft and conspiracy. The remaining charges were dropped.

Judge James P. Goodman revoked her probation and parole after she failed to comply with terms of both, and sentenced her to nine to 24 months in state prison.

He also ordered her to obtain drug and alcohol treatment.

The following defendants pleaded guilty:

Dylan J. Ciappa, 38, of Andreas, was charged by Tilden Township police with retail theft on June 5, 2017. He pleaded guilty, and Judge Jacqueline L. Russell sentenced him to 18 months on probation, and to perform 20 hours of community service.

Russell also ordered Ciappa to avoid contact wit the victim, and to pay court costs and fees.

Craig Neveu, 31, of Tamaqua, was charged by Tamaqua police with two counts of simple assault and harassment, and one count of disorderly conduct on Aug. 22, 2017.

Russell sentenced him to 18 months on probation, and to perform 20 hours of community service. One count of disorderly conduct and the counts of harassment were dropped.
