Animal cruelty case under investigation

State police at Lehighton were summoned at 8:30 p.m. Saturdayto investigate an animal cruelty case.

Police said a 6-year-old boy from Kunkletown in the 100 block of El-Do Lake Drive, Polk Township,was the person involved.

Police did not release any details on the incident.
