June 25, 1952 — Lee Kuntz tosses a four-hitter and Lehighton takes advantage of some poor defense in the ninth inning to gain a 3-2 Tri-County League win over Lansford. Kuntz walks six and strikes out nine in his nine innings of work. Tied at 2-2 in the ninth, Frank Romano reaches second on an error, goes to third on a wild pitch, and scores on another miscue.
