Woman cited after two-car crash

State police at the Lehighton barracks said Stephanie A. Palmer, 20, of Kunkletown, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 7:46 a.m. Tuesday on Hahns Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township. No one was injured in the crash.

Police said she was driving a 2008 Ford Fusion eastbound in the right lane of traffic and was negotiating a curve in the roadway when the vehicle left the lane of travel, entered the westbound lane and struck the front end of a 2007 Ford F-350 operated westbound by Lee A. Costenbader, 26, also of Kunkletown.

Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
