Driver flees crash scene in Schuylkill

A driver fled the scene of a crash on July 4 in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash was reported at 5:13 p.m. in the parking lot of Moyer's Car Care Center, located at 102 Route 183 in Wayne Township. Troopers said Trina L. Stankiewitch, 21, of Schuylkill Haven, pulled out of a parking space in the lot when her Chevrolet Cobalt was rear-ended by another vehicle that was exiting the lot. The other driver then fled the scene southbound on Route 183. Stankiewitch was not injured.
