Community day event will include Mac & Brews

The Community Day in the Park event will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at Victory Park in Slatington.

A popular attraction figures to be the Mac & Brews Comfort Food Tasting, which will take place from 4-6 p.m.

While the event is free to attend, there is a $7 fee to participate in the tasting.

Admission includes the mac and cheese tasting, and entitles visitors to cast a vote for their favorite recipe.

The mac and cheese is being prepared by the local fire departments as part of the event, which will be held in partnership with the Northern Lehigh Events Committee.
