Kresgeville woman jailed after assault incident

A 34-year-old Kresgeville woman was jailed after an assault case at 6:50 p.m. June 30 on Red Fox Court in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks did not identify the woman but said she was taken into custody and charged with strangulation and related offenses in Magisterial District Court 43-3-04.

Police said they arrested the woman after they were summoned to a report of a domestic dispute. The victim is a 61-year-old woman from Kresgeville.
