Program planned on Asa Packer
The Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center will host Eileen Potter Kopelman at 10 a.m. on Saturday for a program on Asa Packer.
Kopelman, a fifth-generation cousin of the Packer family, recently published a biography on the life of Asa Packer titled “The Honorable Asa Packer, His Life and Times.”
She will share information from her research over the years.
The Mauch Chunk Museum is located at 41 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe.
