Tamaqua woman cited for simple assault

Jamie Lynn Miller, 34, of 326 N. Columbia St., Tamaqua, has been cited by Tamaqua police in connection with an incident on June 22.

Officers were dispatched to St. Luke's Miners Campus in Coaldale for a reported assault at 12:05 a.m.

They met with the victim, who said Miller struck him with her car following an argument. He was being treated for abrasions to his right shoulder, elbow and wrist.

Miller was cited for simple assault.
