Schuylkill man jailed for assault

A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Monday on a charge of simple assault as the result of a domestic dispute.

State police at Frackville said Lee Dutill, 33, of the 800 block of Barnesville Drive, Barnesville, was arrested following an incident at 9 p.m. Troopers said during a domestic dispute Dutill head-butted a 49-year-old woman, causing her to bleed and a cut to her nose.

He was arraigned before on-call District Judge James Ferrier of Orwigsburg, and taken to the county prison in Pottsville. He was unable to post bail.
