Kunkletown woman jailed on drug charges

Jasmine VanHorn, 29, of Kunkletown, was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville, after she was taken into custody on an active warrant at 12:25 p.m. July 5 and found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

State police at Lehighton said they took VanHorn into custody without incident after she was observed walking on the side of Kuehner Drive in Eldred Township.

Police said they knew at the time that there was an active warrant out for her arrest.

The woman was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Colleen Mancuso and lodged in the county jail.
