Day camp planned in Weatherly

The 2018 edition of “Weatherly Time Travelers Day Camp” will take place from 9:30 a.m.-noon Aug. 6 at the Weatherly Area Museum.

The event is free to all kids in the Weatherly area, but recommended for children ages 9-12.

This year’s camp will focus on the history of sports in Weatherly. Activities include a scavenger hunt, games, crafts, a game of “kick the wicki” and more.

Preregistration is required, and space is limited.

The museum, located at 100 Steelplant Road, is also open on Saturdays (1-4 p.m.) and Sundays (2-4 p.m.) all summer long.
