Blakeslee woman cited after two-vehicle crash

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks cited Miranda Meloni, 21, of Blakeslee, with careless driving after a two-vehicle crash at 1 p.m. June 22 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she was driving a 2014 Mercedes-Benz northbound on Route 209 when it failed to come to a complete stop and struck the rear of a 2000 BMW operated by John McLaughlin, 20, of Washington, New Jersey, which was stopped. Meloni’s vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a post on the right shoulder of the road.

Police said she was injured but did not require a medical transport.
