DUI arrests
State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence arrests made recently.
Troopers said Jean Marie Strubeck, 53, of Lehighton, was stopped on July 17 along Cherry Hill Road, near Route 209, in Franklin Township, driving a 1988 Chevrolet 27-foot motor home. She was found to be under the influence of alcohol and charges were filed.
On July 15 a traffic stop was made in the 1300 block of Kunkletown Road in Ross Township, Monroe County, for traffic violations. The driver, who troopers only identified as a 38-year-old man from Slatington, was found to be under the influence and taken to the county DUI center for a blood test.
