Braves topples Giants

The Berlinsville Braves knocked off the Northampton Giants in Blue Mountain League action Friday night.

Berlinsville edged Northampton 9-7.

Matt Minchhoff had a big day at the plate for the Braves (13-17), going 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored. Matt Miller went 2-for-4 with a run scored, while Tyler Svetik and Austin Mueller added two RBIs apiece.

Nate Kester smacked a three-run homer for the Giants (22-8).

Svetik earned the win on the mound, while Connor Morro took the loss.
